☑️ Secure Path Compliance

GPS tracking systems with the Secure Path platform are mandatory for vehicles in specific categories, including those used for public transport, dangerous goods transport, and renting fleets. This allows for real-time monitoring and regulatory oversight.

☑️ Device Type Approval

GPS tracking devices; All GPS tracking devices utilized within the UAE must have type approval from the Telecommunications & Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA). This compliance with technical and safety standards.

☑️ Data Aggregation

Fleet managers have to ensure that the GPS data is saved securely and can be accessed by relevant authorities who conduct audits or inspections.

☑️Enhanced Traffic Systems

RTA is also working towards deploying more intelligent traffic systems that work on reducing the congestion and optimising the traffic movements. Fleet managers need to sync with these efforts to streamline routes and shrink emissions.

☑️ New Traffic Laws

As part of broader transportation reforms, the UAE is implementing new traffic laws in 2025, which include frameworks for self-driving cars and updated safety requirements for fleet vehicles.
