Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: January 2026 · Governing Commercial Jurisdiction: Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
1. Scope of Agreement
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of vehicle tracking hardware, sensor equipment, software-as-a-service (SaaS) cloud dashboards, and mobile application access provided by Halla Vehicle Tracking Systems in the United Arab Emirates.
2. Hardware Installation & Warranty
All telematics units (hardwired, OBD-II, magnetic) and peripheral sensors installed by HallaTrack carry a standard 12-month manufacturer replacement warranty against functional defects. Warranty is void if equipment has been tampered with, opened by unauthorized third parties, submerged beyond specified IP ratings, or subjected to abnormal electrical surges.
3. Lawful Use & UAE Legal Compliance
Under UAE Federal Law, unauthorized tracking of individuals or vehicles without legal ownership or explicit consent is strictly prohibited and carries severe penalties including imprisonment and fines. Clients warrant that all vehicles equipped with HallaTrack telematics are legally owned, leased, or managed by the client organization.
4. Service Availability & Cellular Coverage
While our systems maintain 99.8%+ platform availability, GPS and cellular data transmission depend on local satellite constellation visibility and telecommunications operator coverage across the UAE and GCC. HallaTrack is not liable for temporary data dropouts in underground parking basements or heavily shielded industrial areas.
5. Subscriptions & Billing
Telematics subscription fees (including the base 0.99 AED/day plan) are billed according to agreed monthly, quarterly, or annual contract schedules. Services include cloud data storage, technical support, and cellular SIM connectivity.
6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Emirate of Sharjah and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Sharjah.
